Tomi graduated at Kingston University where his thesis project was awarded the prize for design and submitted to the RIBA President’s Medals awards, and after working at several practices joined the DLG London studio in 2005.

Over the years has led many of the practices successful retail and regeneration projects. These have included the transformative formative regeneration of a grade 1 listed chapel in central Bath, and going on work on various retail regeneration projects such as Milsom Place,  Intu Lakeside and the REVO gold-award winning Sailmakers shopping centre in Ipswich. Tomi is known for his design skill within the practice has hand in countless other projects and sectors including residential, office and hotel projects. Currently he is leading the team developing proposals for an ambitious and public-realm driven residential masterplan that will deliver 1000 homes.

Tomi has a keen interest in creating places for people to live in, as well as using his expertise in the retail sector to consider ways to diversify and enrich Britain’s town centres, opening up their shopping centre and retail spaces to reimagine them as more civic and integrated elements of the urban centre.
