David joined the DLG team in 2017 as an experienced architect and has been integral to developing the practice’s BIM and PD capabilities.  He takes an active lead on the technical design and delivery of key projects, including several industrial schemes and multiple retrofit projects.

David graduated his part I, II and III architectural training at the University of Lincoln and has worked for notable practices across the north including Quad Architects, Stem Architects and Brewster Bye. David’s key areas of interest and experience are in refurbishment, restoration and sustainability.

His notable projects within the studio include One Sovereign Quay Leeds, a 22,000 SQFT, grade A office space extension and refurbishment spread over 5 floors providing modern bespoke facilities and first class amenities; Specialised Covers, a 17,760sqft manufacturing facility with additional refurbishment works to the existing offices. The new 2-storey factory is designed to a high standard specification and includes new areas of production, staff facilities, additional vehicular parking and a loading dock. He also led on the redevelopment of Britannia Mills, taking the former historic industrial building and repurposing for student living.
