Building on DLG Architects’ committment to delivering outstanding places to live and work, Partner Victoria Simpson has passed the exams to become a WELL Accredited Professional™ (WELL AP).

The WELL AP credential denotes expertise in the WELL Building Standard, in addition to leadership and a commitment to advancing human health and wellness in built environment design.

The WELL Building standard is a science, research and data-led framework for developing, building and operating places that actively support human health and wellbeing. Ten core concepts – air, water, light, nourishment, thermal, sound, movement, materials, community and innovation – shape and structure an approach to development that considers how we inhabit and use spaces. Projects that acheive WELL Certification have undergone a rigorous design and performance-verification process, and are increasingly in demand as building users become more aware of the role of the built environment to our collective and individual wellbeing.

We feel strongly that every project has the capacity to embed ‘well’ principles into design; get in touch if you’d like to speak with Victoria about how!
