STORY

The Boulevard, Crawley is a significant, multi-phased town-centre regeneration project in West Sussex. Over three phases, the project is delivering a fully-affordable tenure housing block (Phase 1a), a new town hall & CAT-A offices (Phase 1b) and – the subject of this Lot Submission – a new 182-home housing development and new civic square (Phase 2). The project is being delivered as a joint-venture between our Client, Platform_ (and their parent company Westrock), and Crawley Borough Council (CBC).

The project originally secured Outline consent in 2018 as part of the hybrid planning submission for the Town Hall redevelopment. DLG Architects were appointed to review the scheme in 2020, and we were subsequently appointed to undertake a comprehensive redesign, within the scope of the Outline consent, and to manage the planning and stakeholder liaison process through Reserved Matters Submission to detailed, technical design (RIBA Stage 4).
