Story
DLG have been appointed to expand, refurbish and reposition this notable Manchester workplace in the city’s Piccadilly Gardens, enhancing its civic identity and coinciding with the gardens’ highly publicised upgrade.
Approach
Our design approach, which will substantially improve the asset’s standing in the Manchester workplace market, will introduce a new rooftop extension and terrace, two new entrances, an extended and reconfigured reception area and a considered external lighting scheme which will reflect its prominence and location.
The proposals reinforce the ESG and wellbeing agenda of the Client, Legal & General Investment Management, and will support building users through a range of active and passive wellbeing initiatives.
Planning has been achieved, and technical design will shortly be underway.
