The Boulevard at Midsummer Place forms an important entrance to the two principal shopping centres in Milton Keynes. The dramatic roof structure spanning Midsummer Boulevard helps to unify this primary access route combining public and private space which is unique in Milton Keynes but in keeping with the clearly defined spaces and routes which characterise the town centre.

The new design looks to redevelop some existing units to create two new double height restaurant units; and four additional new A1 retail units comprising a combined gross external area floorspace of 447 sq m.
