Detailed negotiations with conservation officers resulted in the retention of the important facades opposite Windsor Castle and substantial reconstruction and new building to accommodate this hotel and underground car park.  35,000 sq ft of retail – the building’s original use – was retained and created at ground and lower ground level to suit a new TK Maxx store.
