One of several projects undertaken to help further education colleges provide improved accommodation via funding from land disposals. Situated in a conservation area the new College has been designed to minimise visual impact whilst providing improved access and environmental credentials. Completed on programme it involved the demolition of the existing magistrate’s court and construction of a new building. The building has been a great success, and provides a full range of facilities including training in construction and fabrication.
