Story

The first phase of the ambitious SOYO masterplan, New York Square delivers 515 build-to-rent apartments in two towers, with far-reaching views over the ever-evolving Leeds skyline.

Alongside the high-quality apartments, the development provides extensive residential amentiy including a residents’ gym, co-working space, extensive lounges, a private-hire dining room and cinema. At street level, commerical units flank the central boulevard whilst a rooftop skylounge and terrace provides valuable communal indoor and outdoor space.

The development is 3-Star Fitwel rated – the world’s foremost measure of wellbeing in building design and operation – cementing Moda New York Square’s stance on occupant happiness and the city’s ‘healthiest place to live’.

“Projects like SOYO represent a huge investment in Leeds. This development will deliver new homes, commercial spaces and new landscaped areas – all things that will improve the physical built environment. As part of the team developing Caddick’s wider ESG approach, I’m also hugely proud that we’ve been able to deliver the ambitious social value targets we set for ourselves, in spite of the challenges of the pandemic”
