We are celebrating two planning consents within our retail and retrofit portfolio in the south east and Leeds.

At Hempstead Valley, Kent, Planning Consent has been granted for a new entrance experience and refurbished exteriors, bringing the southern approach to this popular retail centre up to the same standard as the refurbished East Mall, completed by DLG in 2022.

Much like the East Mall, the new South Mall entrance takes the form of an illuminated lightbox, signposting the approach to the centre and modernising the surrounding building frontages.

On Briggate – Leeds’ central shopping thoroughfare, DLG is delivering an exceptional new anchor store for Landsec which will be home to Zara, who are relocating to Trinity. The new Zara retail store will offer 46,000sq. ft of retail over three storeys with access directly from Briggate and from within Trinity itself.

The new retail frontage will employ a minimal palette of Afion marble which frames a three-storey structurally glazed frontage.  The new Zara store represents a new era for the brand in Leeds as they expand their presence in the city and an opportunity to showcase their exceptional retail store design.  It’ll be well worth a visit when it opens to the public later this year.
