After fifteen great years at our current premises, the DLG Leeds studio has moved to a new home.
Our new studio at Town Centre House in the city’s Arena Quarter is a modern, light-filled workspace with collaborative design space & excellent amenities – part of our commitment to providing our team an inspiring and supportive place to work.
DLG Architects is committed to sustainable principles and making conscious design choices to lower our environmental impacts. When planning the move into our new Leeds studio, we have applied these principles to our own workspace. Office fit-outs often involve huge amounts of waste and cost which we are committed to avoiding. We have approached this with an eye to the circular economy; over 90% of our furniture will be re-used and creatively reconfigured to suit the new space.
This approach has been successful in our London studio, where our recent upgrade of the space creatively sourced new furnishings from local businesses which were either relocating or closing, including height-adjustable standing desks – a wellbeing win! – plan hangars, shelving and storage. This allowed the space to be rearranged to suit our needs better, forming a distinct collaboration zone and sample library.
Combining circular approaches with the lower-energy services in the new Leeds office and sourcing green energy suppliers in London, we are committed to achieving the objectives of our Carbon Reduction Plan across both our locations.
Our new address in Leeds will be:
Town Centre House
Merrion Centre
Leeds LS2 8LY
We look forward to welcoming you there!
