We are often asked by our clients how we can add ‘value’ on a new project….and as anyone in construction knows ‘value’ can have very different meanings to different stakeholders. To owner occupier clients it might mean an improved working environment for staff, to a planning committee it might be measured in aesthetics or the creation of new employment opportunities and to the agency team it could translate to increased rental values and positive tenant interest.
Ashville College Sports Centre has been shortlisted for the Offsite Construction award at the CExcellenceYH (Construction Excellence in Yorkshire and the Humber) Awards 2018. This makes Ashville Sports Centre a double Educational Building Award finalist!

Our David Bailey was a guest speaker at the CIAT Yorkshire Personal Development Day, held at Leeds Beckett University on 6th June. The theme was ‘Creativity in the Built Environment’ and David’s presentation provided insights into the design process behind the award-nominated Ashville College Sports Centre.

Our scheme for the Macdonald Windsor Hotel received some unexpected attention in the run up the Royal Wedding when DLG received telephone calls from American News Networks, enquiring if the hotel’s roof structure was strong enough to bear the weight of a camera crew!
We’re delighted to be participating in the ‘Architecture Leeds’ event, organised by the LSA to celebrate architectural practice in the Leeds area. Taking place between 6th April - 13th May, the event will feature a pop-up exhibition, series of lectures and schedule of exciting activities.
Planning Permission has been received for two more schemes at Windsor Royal Shopping Centre; Thames Street and Goswell Hill. Located opposite Windsor Castle in the Grade II listed Victorian railway station, Windsor Royal is a prestigious shopping destination.
Ashville Sports Centre has been shortlisted for the Education Project of the Year at the Explore Offsite Awards. The two storey modular building was assembled and completed during the summer school holidays, working within a tight time frame – but rendered perfectly to plan.
