Helping a local church modernise their accommodation by unlocking the development potential of an existing car park and redundant hall and ancillary buildings has been a rewarding project for all involved. The Grade-II listed church hall is to be extended and converted at its upper levels to provide 6 luxury unique apartments built within the lofty roof forms, and featuring double height voids around the original leaded windows.
The works also include a new flexible church hall and catering facilities to allow them to continue to serve the local community groups into the future. Planning approval was carefully negotiated with the local Authority and works are planned to start on site in 2018.
