We devote time at every stage of a building’s design to think carefully about how it will perform both with respect to its environmental, social and economic sustainability, as well as meeting the requirements of end users and building owners alike.
We design buildings that respond to site context and climate in order to create healthy well ventilated, naturally lit spaces that make full use of solar gain. To help us analyse our design proposals we use a range of tools including BIM, Passivhaus, BREEAM and CSH. We have an “in house” accredited Passivhaus designer and Code for Sustainable Homes assessor. We are also currently exploring low carbon design in conjunction with the buildings lifecycle impact.
We design award winning buildings that are, economically viable, give a return on investment and also look to add value through design. We aim to reduce whole life costs and minimize material waste through lean design of building systems and assemblies. We promote design for good health and wellbeing to enabling increased productivity and happiness of building users.
We engage with building users and stakeholders to create designs with flexibility and longevity. We aim to capture community views to produce designs that are socially and culturally inclusive.
